Study social workWe are proud to launch our new BA in Social Work in Northern Ireland, approved by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
Successful graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a qualified social worker, following completion of the degree.
This new work-based distance learning route can support social work organisations to address the workforce challenges in Northern Ireland and meet the needs of diverse employees.
OU social work students bring knowledge and skills and previous experience to their study. They also develop new knowledge and skills and an opportunity to apply their learning, whilst continuing to work and carry out their jobs as part of a team in a social care setting.
