Drag and drop words within sentences

We find authors in several subject areas establishing basic understanding through drag and drop exercises.

Points to note

• there are a variety of available generic feedback responses, for example counting the number of right or wrong answers, with the option of floating wrong answers back to their original position
• drag and drop questions are keyboard accessible; use 'Tab' to move around the drop areas and 'space' to cycle through the options
• 'drag boxes' can only be placed on 'drop boxes' with the matching colour
• when used in 'plain mode' for screen readers, the drag items are converted to items in a drop-down list
