Professional biography

Kevin is a Lecturer at the Open University Business School. He is a Chartered Accountant who trained with Price Waterhouse in London. Following a fifteen-year career in real estate investment and development, including directorships of various investment funds, he went into corporate training and academia. Kevin has run global management programmes for companies such as Unilever, British Airways, BP and Credit Suisse. Kevin has been teaching at the OU since 2008. 

His current research interests involve various applications of agent-based modelling including the role of leadership and luck in management success, the role of luck in the driving of house prices and wealth accumulation via property investment, as well as investigating the carbon emissions on roads. 

Kevin’s is currently the qualification lead for the OU's new BSc in Accounting and Finance.

He has first degrees in both mathematics (BSc) and physics (BSc) , as well as a Master's degree in mathematics (MSc) as well as a masters in online and distance learning (MA).  Kevin also offers financial training to corporate clients by way of his consultancy.

Research interests
