Join us next month at The Open University in Milton Keynes for a free, lunchtime screening of The Democratic Set MK, followed by a short discussion with Bill Gee, the Creative Director of IF: Milton Keynes International Festival and Dr Agnes Czajka, Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Studies.

The Democratic Set MK is a 12-minute film made by the internationally renowned Australian theatre company, Back to Back Theatre. Commissioned and funded by The Open University with funding from Arts Council England, the Higher Education Innovation Fund, the OU's Strategic Research Area in Citizenship and Governance and produced by The Stables (in association with Independent Cinema MK), the film was made, and premiered at IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2018 this July. It enabled participants, Milton Keynes residents from all walks of life, to explore their individual, family and community identities on screen, capturing the diversity of Milton Keynes and those who call it home.
