Mari is an early career researcher, who works across the disciplines of health, sociology and psychology. Her research interests include:

She has a specific interest in the reproductive experiences of LGBTQ+ people.

Teaching interests

As well as undertaking research, Mari teaches research methodology, has experience of supervising Masters' level students, and runs a monthly Qualitative Research Clinic for Open University staff with her colleague Lauren O'Hagan.
