Majella Kavanagh, staff tutor and professional lead in nursing at the Open University, living and working in Wales. Nursing since 1983, at the Open University since 2011, staff tutor since 2018.

Particularly interested in working with healthcare providers, nursing and social care, widening access, supporting students in practice, supporting candidates to access nursing and social care education and professional programmes and supporting the development of the role of academic assessor Who are academic assessors and how are they prepared? - The Nursing and Midwifery Council (nmc.org.uk)
