Victoria (Vic) Nicholas is Associate Dean (Student Experience) in STEM.
Vic gained her Principle Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) in 2021. She was awarded her PhD from Nottingham Trent University and carried out post doctoral research at Harper Adams University.
Previous research was in the area of Plant Biochemistry, particularly focussed on post harvest degradation of root crops. She is currently running an eSTEeM funded research project on Student Perceptions of online Practical Science and has published a book chapter for "Mobile Learning in STEM".
Vic is a Senior Lecturer and Principle Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy. Vic has been an Associate Lecturer with the OU for since 2007 and has tutored on a variety different modules for the Science Faculty. She is currently an Associate Lecturer for S112 Science: concepts and practice.
