Ms. Sharon N. Mokua is a young research scientist at Centre for Public Health Research(CPHR) which is one of the centers at Kenya Medical Research Institute. She holds a BSc. in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Nairobi and an MSc. in Global health and Management from the University of Aberdeen. In her current ICCA-Kenya post. Sharon is actively involved in project research coordination. She has a diverse range of research expertise, experience and interests in global health, health systems research, chronic diseases research, program planning and management, implementation research as well as interests in health innovations. Sharon is currently co-spearheading a research team that is assessing population needs for Universal Health Coverage in Kenya, a health program which was recently launched in Kenya.
