MIAG is a collaboration research institutions in five countries – Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and the UK.

Network of Migration Research on Africa (NOMRA) - Nigeria

NOMRA is a collaborative organisation of researchers and scholars working on migration and especially international migration in the region. The overall aim is to build a regional migration research network and research capacity to carry out cross-national, multidisciplinary and innovative research on sociocultural, economic and political aspects of international migration in the region in order to advance knowledge on migration dynamics and policymaking.

Centre for Policy Analysis (CAP) – Mozambique

The Centre for Policy Analysis (CAP) in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FLCS) of the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) is a specialised unit aiming to promote and advance the research agenda of the University and improve impact through linking the University with the national productive sector and society as a whole. The CAP aims to address the current challenges facing the country when working towards regional integration.

African Migration and Development Policy Centre (AMADPOC) – Kenya

AMADPOC is a research think tank, established in 2008 as the pioneer institution in the Greater Horn of Africa. The think tank conducts and streamlines policy-oriented research, training and capacity building, and policy dialogue on various forms of migration and the interrelationship with development in sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries. The activities focus on the migration–development nexus in SSA countries’ relations with the North and the rest of the South. AMADPOC is a leading non-profit institution that focuses on voluntary, forced and irregular migration.
