SFHEA status for eSTEeM project leader

17th November 2016

We are delighted to announce that Ann Walshe, eSTEeM project leader and staff tutor in the School of Computing and Communications, has recently achieved her Senior Fellowship of the HEA via OpenPAD.

Ann WalsheOpenPAD, which was recently replaced by a new scheme called Applaud, is the Open University's institutional scheme for professional development. Ann based her Practitioner Inquiry on her eSTEeM scholarship project entitled “Perceptions, Expectations and Experience of Group Tuition: towards a shared understanding amongst stakeholders”. The assessors commented that the incorporation of an eSTEeM scholarship project worked well.

To view Ann's application please visit the project's website under the 'Dissemination' sub-page. The project was the winner of the best poster competition at this year's eSTEeM Annual Conference in April.

Many congratulations Ann from us all at eSTEeM.
