The Open University is delighted to support 'A Brother and Child Reunion' at Scotland's International Crime Writing Festival, Bloody Scotland 2021, with the authors of the best-selling Jack Reacher series, Lee Child and Andrew Child.

What do you do if you want to slip quietly away from arguably the most successful thriller series in decades, but have no desire to see your iconic character follow you into retirement? You keep it in the family.

Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels are a phenomenon. They number 25 novels, 100 million books sold in 49 languages and 101 territories, and they are relentlessly outstanding. Lee’s younger brother Andrew, himself a successful thriller writer, has taken up the Reacher baton and together they have written the explosive Better off Dead, which sees Jack face down a town with secrets people will kill to protect.

Lee and Andrew will join us by live-stream from the United States. The event will be chaired by author Morgan Cry, who will be live in the Albert Halls in Stirling.

Tickets are £5 to watch online or £8 to watch in-person. Book your ticket via the Bloody Scotland website
