I am a fourth year PhD student student at the Open University.
My PhD project is reconstructing Indian Summer Monsoon driven productivity and stratification changes during the late Pliocene and early Pleistocene, using sediments from two sites drilled during IODP expedition 353 to the Bay of Bengal. I am applying a multiproxy approach including isotope analysis of planktic and benthic foraminifera, XRF scanning and coccolithophore morphometric and assemblage data.
