  • isolate and extract nucleic acid
  • quantify DNA
  • amplify DNA
  • purify nucleic acid and proteins
  • quantify DNA and proteins from cell or tissue lysate
  • analyse your agarose and acrylamide gels or blots
  • measure concentration of DNA and protein in microliter amounts
  • measure UV-Vis spectrum of substances in microliter amounts
