Look out for this week's BBC Radio 4 show In Our Time , presented by Melvyn Bragg, on the mathematician Paul Erdős.
Paul Erdős (1913–1996) was a prolific Hungarian mathematician who published over 1,500 papers over diverse mathematical fields. The contributors to In Our Time are Timothy Gowers (Cambridge and the Collège de France), Colva Roney-Dougal (St Andrews), and Andrew Treglown (Birmingham). The graphic for the show was created by Katherine Staden, Lecturer in Pure Mathematics at the Open University.
