Paul Erdős (1913–1996) was a prolific Hungarian mathematician who published over 1,500 papers over diverse mathematical fields. The contributors to In Our Time are Timothy Gowers (Cambridge and the Collège de France), Colva Roney-Dougal (St Andrews), and Andrew Treglown (Birmingham).
