Professional biography

I am a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Mathemtics and Statistics in Milton Keynes. I joined OU in December 2021. My line manager is Reem Yassawi. I got my PhD from Univeristy of Guilan in Iran in 2011. 

 

Prviously I was postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Resaerch in Fundamental Sciences, in Tehran-Iran for 5 years and postdoctoral fellow at University of Ottawa in Canada for about three years. I also had pleasures of helding short while research positions at CMM-Universidad de Chile and Universidad de Santiago in Chile and Nicolas Cpernicus University in Torun, Poland. 

Research interests

My research area is in topological dynamics and currently I am working on Symbolic Dynamics. More specifically I am studying minimal Cantor systems from some algebraic point of views. I am intersted in using Bratteli-Vershik models and Dimension groups associated to symbolic minimal dynamical systems in ralations with their continuous and measurable spectrums as well as their Ellis semigroups.
