This commonplace book is undated. However, given that it is embossed with the initials 'W.L', it seems likely that she began making entries sometime after her marriage to William Lamb. Lady Caroline Lamb (n?e Ponsonby), [commonplace book 2], John Murray Archive, Acc.12604/4106, 12r, http://www.open.ac.uk/Arts/reading/UK/record_details.php?id=10078, accessed: 29 April 2024

Additional Comments:

Lady Caroline herself does not give the entry a title and has not attributed these lines to Moore, but they are surely his. Transcribed by Lindsey Eckert.
