Ford to a 'Mr. Mack', 19 August 1933

Additional Comments:

The identity of this presumably young writer is unknown. No published author named 'Mack' probably in the UK or Ireland, writing novels during this period, has been identified. As Ludwig noted, Ford was eager to help young writers, even those who he had never met. The range of reading is speculative, but from the evidence in the source letter highly likely to have been mid-August.
