Novice Interaction Designers' Behaviour in Different Cultures

This is a Leverhulme funded research project. Working in collaboration, The Open University and Botho University have been investigating the behaviour of novice interaction designers in the UK and Botswana. We are gaining new insights into design behaviour in different cultures and into the socio-cultural factors that affect the process and product of design. We are also identifying simple behaviours that can be taught to novices in order to help improve design.
