Professor Twalib Ngoma and colleagues presented ICCA research at the Decolonizing medicine in Africa and its diaspora conference hosted by Towson University, USA, in September 2023. The paper, entitled ‘Against the grain: reflections on decades of Tanzanian efforts to build better cancer care – and ways forward’, drew on Professor Ngoma’s experience as a leading clinical oncologist in Tanzania and advocate for expanding access to cancer care, in addition to ICCA research.
