The event is being hosted by Clifford Chance at their Canary Wharf offices in London.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

This interactive event is designed to provide people with disabilities and long-term health conditions with an insight into the true nature of the opportunities for graduates interested in pursuing a career in law.  With contributions from some of the world’s leading law firms, it will help you to develop your understanding of the industry and the support that is available.

The event will cover areas such as:

• An introduction to the legal sector
• How to approach the recruitment process
• When and how to talk about your disability/health condition and the support you may require

It will also give you an opportunity to meet with people in a similar position to you and to network with representatives and recruiters from 6 leading global law firms.

The event is specifically designed to guide and engage with mature students and career changes who wish to pursue a career in Law.

If you think you’ve left it too late to break into the legal profession, think again.  An increasing number of law firms and barristers chambers now actively seek to recruit candidates who are considering law as a second career or who have decided to go to university at a later stage in life.  The reason for this is simple - mature applicants are often more commercially aware, having gained real life experience.

This unique careers evening will comprise of a set series of informative seminar sessions, interactive workshops and informal networking.
