There are normally restrictions on the file size you are able to submit for a TMA. If your submission includes any pictures/images these can be compressed using either Microsoft Word or StarOffice.
For the majority of courses TMA documents need to be submitted in either ‘.doc’ or ‘.rtf’ format. If you are using the latest version of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, or the Open University supplied StarOffice your documents may be saved by default in a different format.
If you are sending more than one file or document as part of your TMA submission the files will need to be saved into a single zip file using Compressed (zipped) folders.
If you have downloaded a marked TMA but have been unable to find the file on your computer or see your tutor’s feedback it may help to create a folder specifically for your collected TMAs.
