Q: Did you have a regular newspaper in the family? A: We had the News of the World and People every Sunday. Q: Who read it? A: It was m'dad, he would read it from beginning to the end. Q: What about your mum? A: There used to be a paper called John Bull and we used to get that. I think it is called the Weekly News now. It went to Thomson's Weekly after that and then it went to the Weekly News. My dad had nowt else to do when he came home from work. I think we got the Post every night, ...
