There are a few more now, but they seem to be spending time elsewhere. Usually they nest in the eaves of a few local houses and I see no reason why they won’t this year also.
Elsewhere, loads of holly blues about this year, plenty of orange tips (on their way out now), and banded demoiselle dragonflies have just emerged at the OU. Lots of blackcaps and whitethroats about. No cuckoos.
