Co-operative College, voluntary winding up, dissolution & the OU
As of today, 31 July 2026, the UK Co-operative College will close its virtual doors for the very last time. A few core staff will remain to support the Board in the creation of the College’s legacy and will continue with the essential management, finance, governance and administration work to complete the voluntary winding up and dissolution process.
The College will no longer provide direct learning provision. However, a series of courses, designed to help learners understand, apply and champion co-operative values, will soon be freely available to learners across the UK and the world via the Open University’s OpenLearn Create platform.
