berrylWe are delighted to reveal the provisional programme for ‘The Hidden Musicians revisited’ a conference organised by the Music Department at The Open University. The programme includes papers, panels and roundtables covering wide spectrum of musical style and practice. It features keynote speeches from Professor Derek Scott (University of Leeds) and the OU’s Emeritus Professor Ruth Finnegan, whose pioneering work The Hidden Musicians: Music-Making in an English Town inspired the conference. The conference is open to all to attend – the fee for the two days, inclusive of all refreshments is £95 or £65 for students.
