Description
In this programme Hermione visits the sites of important discoveries in the East of England, including the fossilised skeleton of the largest fish ever to have lived and the most complete elephant ...skeleton in the world. However, with the help of some school children, Peter Sheldon also shows how easy it is to find common fossils on a gravel driveway. In addition, the programme also explains the preserving properties of amber and how a fossil links Alfred Lord Tennyson to a Pope.
