Abstract:

Which educational technology, in 1913, did Thomas Edison say would completely change the school system within ten years? Which educational technology has produced a UK company worth £30 billion? What did the educational reformer John Dewey have to say about social learning? These questions and more will be answered in my short introduction to educational technology. It will be a dash through the history, practices, theories and methods of learning with technology. I’ll leave time during the presentation for questions and discussion, so I may not get to the end.
