Please join us on the 26th May to discuss the attached paper entitled:
‘The impact of virtual exchange on TPACK and foreign language competence: reviewing a large-scale implementation across 23 virtual exchanges’
Bart Rientes, Tim Lewis, Robert O’Dowd, Irian Rets & Jekaterina Rogaten
Themes to consider when reading:
- What are the main findings from the paper, and what do you think is missing from this paper?
- To what extent do you feel that in your own research field there is a similar tendency to report “positive” findings without necessarily controlling for natural growth in how people learn over time?
- Would a similar approach be useful in your own research field? Why (not)?
