A major international conference was held at the Institute of English Studies, University of London, 21-23 July 2008, organised by the Open University and the Institute of English Studies.
A detailed review of the proceedings of the conference is now available.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in the conference. We were delighted with the quality and range of papers presented on the theme of evidence of reading and we were especially pleased with the invigorating discussion at every session. Plans for a publication resulting from the conference will be announced shortly.
