Description
John Leech was an English caricaturist and illustrator. He contributed to 'Punch' magazine and was the first illustrator of Charles Dickens' novella 'A Christmas Carol' first published in 1843. In 1862 his friend, the artist John Everett Millais, assisted Leech in creating a successful art exhibition of a selection of his Punch magazine drawings.
