Description
Britain's Jurrasic South-West Coast is rich in well-preserved fossils and home to the best-preserved dinosaur discovered in Britain. In this programme Tim Ewin from Bristol City Museum tells Hermoi...ne why it is so important. Later in the programme the Fossil Detectives discover the links between dinosaurs and creatures alive today, tell the story of a fossil enthusiast who came to be known as the Princess of Paleontology and take a boat trip on which they learn why the rocks of South West England have worldwide importance.
