Visuality as a method of studying visual security

When studying different aspects of the visuality of security I have lonk been frustrated by the need to translate anything visual into verbal forms and subjugate it to the verbal mode of thinking and reasoning.

As a first, very rudimentary, experiment I have made this short video to explore how video can be explored using the video mode of interrogation, while preserving what I see as one of the virtues of academic work, the explicit drawing upon and relating to theoretical notions (admittedly this part is in a very rudimentary form in the video, its harder than one thinks to find one's favoured concepts in video format!)

As the idea is to allow visuality to 'speak' on its own terms, I'll not be to wordy here, but invite you to see for yourselves at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jm7mj78S1Q .
