Members of the OU's SUPI project, 'Engaging opportunities'

The project is led by Professor Richard Holliman as Principal Investigator. Working with the support of Diane Ford (Project Manager), Richard has strategic and operational responsibility for all aspects of the project.

Richard oversees strategic planning and progress against the project objectives, working in partnership with Andy Squires (Headteacher) and Helen Brown (Assistant Headteacher) from the Denbigh School Teaching Alliance.

The project team also includes several co-investigators (co-Is):

• Dr Victoria Pearson, an expert in issues of diversity;
• Kris Stutchbury, an expert in teacher training;
• Professor Eileen Scanlon, an evaluation expert; and
• Janice Ansine, an expert in citizen inquiry.

Anthony Steed has recently taken on the role of Project Coordinator working on secondment from the Denbigh School Teaching Alliance, and Dr Gareth Davies is the Evaluation Research Associate. Professor Nick Braithwaite supports the project as Director of eSTEeM (Science).

Other significant contributors to the project have included: Elizabeth Whitelegg (an expert in issues of diversity), Professor Steve Swithenby (previously Director of eSTEeM, Science), and Mark Russell who worked as the Project Coordinator on secondment from the Denbigh School Teaching Alliance for the first two years of the project.
