openAIED 2nd Interest group Meeting 22nd May
openTEL is delighted to announce the second openAIED interest group meeting on the 22nd May 2018, 14:00 – 15:00, Library Seminar Room 4
We will be hosting Aftab Hussain and Dean Baggaley from Bolton College, who will kick off with keynote,
“The ADA Service at Bolton College”
Followed by Alistair Willis, Senior Lecturer in Computing, STEM, who will be presenting,
“AMATI: Scalable assessment of Short, Free-Text Responses.”
Martin Hlosta, Research Associate in STEM, will be presenting
“OUAnalyse: Supporting students and tutors using predictive analytics”

openTEL Short Seminar Series – Completed Projects May 2018
On Tuesday 8th May, openTEL kicked off the first of their Completed Projects Short Seminar Series with Wayne Holmes, Rebecca Ferguson and Jude Fransmann presenting their findings and good practices established through some of their recently completed projects.
OER World Map receives the Open Education Award for Excellence
OpenTEL congratulates Rob Farrow and the OER World Map team for receiving the Open Education Award for Excellence at the OE Global Conference awards in April.
