Bidding Activity Workshop -2017

The second bidding activity workshop held on 6th December 2017, Jennie Lee Building, Ambient Lab, Ground Floor, 11.00-13.00. The discussion and ideas exchange around the following areas/topics:

OUTCOMES

Table 1 – Migrant Learning

The group reviewed the H2020 – Cultural Heritage Open Calls, however, decided that this stage they didn’t feel that there were any open calls suitable for the group to take forward. The group has asked for more information on the EU AMIF – EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

Table 2 – AI In Education

The group discussed the ICT-26-208-2020 call related to Artificial Intelligence. The group also identified a potential to collaborate with WELS on a proposal that is the development stages. Duygu and the rest of the group will meet once some further research has been carried out on what has already been done.

Table 3 – SWAFS: Science with and For Society

The group discussed the SWAFS-15-2018-2019 Citizen Science bid. Doug will lead discussions with fellow researchers.  A follow-up meeting will be arranged to develop the interest in the bid.

Table 4 – ESRC Centre Bid

The group discussed the development of the openTEL ESRC Centre bid. A bid development timeline is being developed and will be shared with the group.
