Shahnaz Hussain

Shahnaz Hussain (also known as Shiny) came to the Open University from the business in Milton Keynes where she had a strong reputation for leading and delivering a diverse range of projects and support services from the third sector to board level in industry.

Shahnaz manages the overall Praxis operation.  This involves financial management, the project management and oversight of all funded Praxis projects including monitoring the progress of projects, their dissemination and impact, and promoting and facilitating the work of the centre through the creation and delivery of the communications strategy and events both internally and externally.

In her spare time, she is a musician and arts reviewer, horticulturist and narrowboater.
