Profile summary

Professional biography

I’m a Lecturer and Staff Tutor in the School of Computing and Communications. I joined the OU as a part-time module tutor in 2018 and have tutored on computing modules at all levels. I became a Lecturer/Staff Tutor in 2021. As a Staff Tutor, I support groups of module tutors on TT284 Web Technologies, TM352 Web, Mobile & Cloud Technologies, TM359 Systems Penetration Testing and practice tutors on Degree Apprenticeships in England and Wales.

Prior to joining the OU, my career as an IT professional was largely in the public sector (Civil Service then Local Government and NHS including all blue light services) before moving into roles supporting the third sector.

I studied Computing and Psychology as an undergraduate at the OU.
