I’m a User Experience Designer in the Learning Innovation team at The Open University. I’m passionate about creative problem-solving and design, and I focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences that empower, enrich, and engage users. I strongly believe in observing how people interact with tools and environments to uncover insights that drive meaningful design solutions.
Right now, I’m working on innovative projects, including immersive simulations, virtual reality experiences, and tools to improve production processes and deliver cutting-edge educational technology. Collaboration and keeping the user at the heart of every design decision are key to my approach.
In previous roles at The Open University, I’ve worked on the visual design and UX of interactive HTML5 assets for ePubs, iBooks, and MOOCs on FutureLearn. I developed a visual design style guide for MOOCs, ensuring accessibility and consistency, and I was involved in the early stages of the VLE redesign, contributing to user research and shaping the direction of the project.
My expertise covers user research, accessibility, interactive design, and immersive technology, and I enjoy bringing forward-thinking educational tools and experiences to life.
