I completed a Degree in Zoo biology at Nottingham Trent University, from there I started volunteering at Whipsnade zoo, where I was then employed as a Keeper in the African section. I have since worked in the Open University waste management group, based in the ecosystems and geobiology labs, as a research technician, where i was responsible for setting up experiments and obtaining data that was used to inform the running of a waste plant in Cambridgeshire. since 2016 I have been employed as a laboratory technician in the life health and chemical sciences laboratories. I have completed a masters level module in environmental sciences, which i studied with the Open University, and hope to complete my studies towards a masters degree in medicinal chemistry in 2019.
