Ripon Hall was constructed in the 1890’s; an extension was added in 1965.  The buildings were substantially refurbished by The Open University in late 1976.

The buildings are situated in some 15 acres of gardens and woodlands (5.7 hectares).

There is provision for the parking of approximately 70 cars.
