Dissemination is an essential element of every eSTEeM project. It is not just a matter of accountability; it is at the heart of creating an informed and vibrant community.

The mechanisms of disseminating effectively vary from informal and peer mentoring conversations, to conference and journal papers. This section contains such outputs for the above eSTEeM project - Creative Climate Learning: common resources on environmental change.

To coincide with Rio+20, we are launching a pilot OU Environment Resource and Scholarship Hub which is available at

The site offers a resources and news platform to network the OUs environment teaching community. In addition to finding resources to use in the design or updating of modules, you can also share ideas, teaching aids and external links with colleagues. The hope is that the site will help build a learning community around environment teaching within the OU.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the site, especially if you have suggestions as to how we can add to and improve it. It is a pilot, and if it is to have longevity it has to deliver services for colleagues. The website is currently supported by EDIS. There is a link on the website, ‘Tell us what you think,’ where you can feed back your thoughts and requests.
We hope you will find something interesting and useful for your teaching here.  The Creative Climate diaries link offers not only diverse testimonies of the experience of climate change to embed in teaching and as a springboard for assessment, but also an opportunity for you to contribute to this pioneering archive and highlight OU research and further outreach work.
