This certificate offers you the chance to find out what it’s like to work in social care. It’s the perfect way to gain an insight into the profession of social work, and you’ll even spend some time shadowing a qualified social worker (or someone with an equivalent qualification), so it’s a good idea to have access to a suitable setting, perhaps through voluntary work.
