Description
Arthur Hugh Clough was a poet and educationalist. He became principal of University Hall part of University College in London. He also worked as an unpaid secretarial assistant to Florence Nightingale who was his wife's cousin. Clough died from malaria at the age of 42 while travelling in Europe. He is buried in the English cemetery in Florence.
