Peter and Helen have been working closely with colleagues in Careers and Employability Services to develop resources and activities to help students reflect on their employability skills. This sess...ion will introduce students to a new online activity, designed in collaboration with CES to help you review your employability skills. The aims of the activity are to help you: • recognise key employability skills • assess your level of competency of these skills • begin to evidence your skills • think about the range of activities and contexts that help you gain skills (e.g. OU study, work, home and social life) • identify skills gaps or skills you need to develop and improve. Peter and Helen will then provide a demonstration of the activity and explore other resources available from the OU to help you develop your employability skills further.
