As The Open University celebrates its 50th anniversary, Peter Twining, Professor of Education (Futures), will deliver his inaugural lecture on what the future holds for schools. He will ask if there is mismatch between how children learn and formal learning and invite a panel to give their views on information and communications technology in schools.
