The Open University in Scotland is delighted to be supporting this public Blue Planet II event hosted by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS).
Blue Planet II is a landmark piece of film-making with an equally significant legacy. Since its first broadcast, a tsunami of interest has developed concerning ocean sustainability, particularly in terms of marine plastics and climate change.
James Honeyborne, the award-winning Executive Producer based at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, was at the helm of this ground-breaking BBC/Open University co-produced series. Come along as we dive deeper into this intriguing world.
Blue Planet II is a BBC/OU co-production and OU academics were consultants for the series. 2019 is the year the OU celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Tickets for this event can be booked here. Please note there is range of different prices depending on RSGS membership.
