Accessibility

The International Convention Centre is fully accessible. For full details, please visit www.iccwales.com/venue/accessibility/.

If, when making your ceremony booking, you indicated that you or any of your guests, have additional requirements you will be contacted by a member of our Wales graduation team in the weeks before your ceremony.  

If you did not indicate additional requirements when booking, and need to, please contact the Wales graduation team on 029 21 674 545 or via wales-graduation@open.ac.uk, no later than 4 weeks before your ceremony. 

Travel and Accommodation

There are plenty of ways to get to your ceremony, find out how to get to the venue by visiting www.iccwales.com/getting-here/. If you are driving, there is a 700-space paid car park underneath the venue (costs apply), and a further 1,300 visitor car park spaces across the Celtic Manor Resort, where the venue is located.

If you chose to stay at the resort or nearby before the ceremony you may find you can even walk to the venue. The ICC Wales is on the site of the Celtic Manor Resort and Hotel and located within a 10-minute walk of neighbouring hotels including the Holiday Inn, Premier Inn and Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor. The Celtic Manor Resort hosts various hotels on site, you can find out more by visiting www.iccwales.com/organisers/accommodation/. 

Refreshments

The venue has two coffee shops located within the grounds where you will be able to purchase refreshments and light snacks. The venue also has water re-fill stations throughout. The venue’s Aspect Bar will be closed on the day of your ceremony but there are several bars in the Celtic Manor Resort which you can find out more about by visiting www.celtic-manor.com/dining/bars.

The Celtic Manor Resort has several options available for dining, drinks or afternoon tea, please visit www.iccwales.com/visitors/wine-dine/ for further information.

We would encourage you to make your reservations in advance of your ceremony day.

Cloakroom

The cloakroom is located on Floor -1. If you are using the venue’s car park, you will see the cloakroom as you make your way up to registration. Otherwise, you can take the escalators or lifts from the Atrium to Floor -1 to use the cloakroom.

Please note that large bags, pushchairs, buggies, etc. will not be permitted within the auditorium during the ceremony due to health and safety.

First Aid

If first aid assistance is required whilst at the venue, please report to a member of venue staff.

Security & emergencies

Please note it is the venue’s discretion to enforce any security measures, such as bag searches.

Should the need to evacuate arise, an announcement will be made, and venue staff will provide further instruction.

Teithio a Llety

Os byddwch yn gyrru, mae maes parcio o dan y lleoliad (codir tâl i barcio), yn ogystal â 1,300 o leoedd parcio ychwanegol i ymwelwyr ar dir Gwesty Hamdden y Celtic Manor, lle mae'r lleoliad.

Os byddwch yn aros yn y gwesty neu yn yr ardal gyfagos cyn y seremoni, mae'n bosibl y byddwch am gerdded i'r lleoliad. Lleolir Canolfan Gynadledda Ryngwladol Cymru ar safle Gwesty Hamdden y Celtic Manor, ac mae sawl gwesty cyfagos o fewn pellter cerdded o 10 munud iddo, gan gynnwys Holiday Inn, Premier Inn a Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor. Mae'r ystafell gotiau ar Lawr -1. Os byddwch yn defnyddio maes parcio'r lleoliad, byddwch yn gweld yr ystafell gotiau wrth i chi fynd i'r man cofrestru. Neu, gallwch fynd ar y grisiau symudol neu'r lifft o'r Atriwm i Lawr -1 i ddefnyddio'r ystafell gotiau.

Noder na fydd modd dod â bagiau mawr, cadeiriau gwthio, bygis ac ati i mewn i'r awditoriwm yn ystod y seremoni am resymau iechyd a diogelwch.

Os bydd angen cymorth cyntaf arnoch pan fyddwch yn y lleoliad, rhowch wybod i aelod o staff y lleoliad.
