The property comprises fully refurbished offices of three Victorian terraces in the Edinburgh New Town. The New Town is a Conservation Area. The building is ‘B’ listed (of regional importance). The Open University in Scotland moved into the property on 5 April 1993.

Building access is currently restricted to the ground floor for people with accessibility considerations, there are future plans to improve access to all floors of the building.
