Group People Director: Caragh Molloy

About the role

As the Group People Director, I promote continuous improvement, innovation and agility in service delivery, and ensure that the University’s people strategies support the achievement of the University’s mission and align with the University’s values.

I am also a member of VCE and operate in collaboration with senior leadership teams across all Units and locations, including our trade unions.

A number of projects are sponsored by this role such as the Associate Lecturer Programme, Core Systems Replacement, our Student and Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy and our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion ambitions.

I am passionate about helping people to be great leaders and creating a working environment which is inclusive and where people are supported and developed to succeed.

Caragh’s background

Caragh has over 15 years' experience in Higher Education having worked as Deputy Director of Human Resources at the University of Liverpool as well as working for Imperial College and the Institute of Education. More recently, Caragh has held the position of Director of People for Plus Dane Housing Ltd. As a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, Caragh has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in the Psychology of Organisational Change and Development.
