To support all Open University staff in understanding the requirements of the Prevent duty, and to comply with the reporting requirements from the Office for Students (OfS), Prevent training is provided through the LMS system (My Learning Centre) and completion is mandatory.
All staff (permanent or temporary, including agency staff) need to complete the Prevent training every two years. It can be accessed here, including PDF versions for staff who do not have an OUCU.
There are two parts to the training:
You have completed the training when you have read the e-Learning module and successfully passed the Quiz. Completion rates will be monitored in accordance with The Open University Mandatory Training Policy and Standards (internal only).
